I think I've been tagged!

So after reading Anna's and April's blog I think I've been tagged. If it's not me you were speaking of, and there's another Holly you'd be more interested in getting to know-well then you'll have to introduce me to her. Without further rambling, here I go:

How long have you been together? We just surpassed our 3 year mark in October, so we're young'ins compared to the large majority out there.

How long did you date? That's difficult to say since our dating/engagement period seemed to blend together with either of us having a recollection of specific dates. Despite this, I think I'd be safe to say 3 months of dating and then another 3 months of engagement. I'm sure Anna would say "that's so Utah" and she'd be right, but Paul will always say that he had to work fast so that I wouldn't go back out west for school.

How old is he? He's 26, the same as me.

Who eats more? Oh without a doubt, ME! Paul always says its unfair, because I always eat all of my portion and half of his. Paul's pretty lucky now though, with me being so pregnant I get full so quickly and he can eat all of his food.

Who said I love you first? That was Paul. I had wanted to say it much much earlier, but didn't want to rush things(or Paul). I think there was an unsaid understanding that we both loved each other, so he/we didn't end up saying it until very late in the game.

Who is taller? Even with Paul being a compact 5"5, he is a good 4 inches taller than me. On that note, I think I should tell you that once someone told me he wasn't really datable because of how short he was. I told them it wasn't a problem for me though! Paul always likes to comment, that this picky individual is still single.

Who sings better? Well, neither of us are known for our singing voices (Paul will always say that his family is NOT musically talented), but if awards were given out to those who could sing like Kevin Cronin, Freddy Mercury or even Peter Frampton Paul would take the gold. Paul excels at masking his voice and imitating others.

Who is smarter? Paul, no contest.

Who does the laundry? I do. As a result of Paul taking on his own laundry responsibilities at age 5 (ask Joanne about that), he's never been too meticulous about laundry. I on the other hand am a little more particular, therefore I do it.

Who does the dishes? I do, not because Paul wont do them, but its because I want them done so quickly. I don't like dishes to sit, so I end up doing them immediately.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Just as April, I'm always a little confused about this one. If your looking at the bed, I sleep on the right side.

Who pays the bills? Traditionally I have, but since moving to Germany everything has changed. We're taking the leap to automatic bill pay, and Paul's getting all of that set up.

Who mows the lawn? In the past we haven't had a lawn, but now that we do Paul is looking forward to taking care of it. Paul is a big fan of "nice lines" and these sorts of things (he's worked landscaping/ grounds keeping jobs for several summers) so I'll let him do that and I can focus on starting a garden.

Who cooks dinner? Surprise, that's Paul! Paul actually is a fantastic cook, and we both love cooking together but he traditionally does more day to day cooking and I like to do the entertaining and special stuff.

Who is more stubborn? Definitely, without a doubt-me.

Who kissed who first? I can't say, I think its a draw.

Who asked who out? Well Paul definitely introduced himself to me first (about 3 times), but I think it was a mutual decision that we should hang out. I actually was dating someone at the time, and so after I told Paul that I had broke it off with my long time boyfriend- he knew exactly where we stood.

Who proposed? Paul officially did, but I made the decision to stay in NY before he proposed or even spoke of it. After telling Paul of my decision at a Domm family barbecue, he said non-chellantly "so we're getting married". Don't worry, that's not how he proposed. A few weeks later when he had the ring, he did it properly.

Who is more sensitive? Me.

Who has more friends? I think that's pretty equal.

Who has more siblings? Paul. He has 6 and I have 5.

Who are you tagging? Hmmm. Has Deborah already been done? I'm sure she has. I have to get back to you on that. Maybe I'll be happy just catching up on every one's blogs. I know that's lame, but I'm new to the blogging world, and I feel this new past times sucks up allot of my time already.

Hopefully my ramblings (and poor excuse for grammar) were somewhat informative and maybe even interesting. I've got to sign off otherwise the rest of my unpacking will never get done!

Holly, I'm so glad you started a blog! I really enjoyed getting to know about your life with Paul.

And by the way - you are so a blue! Yes you can get excited (is that still the same as far as ice skating goes?) but you are very calm and a great friend!!!

Good luck with the final days of pregnancy (normal insanity and all) and I can't wait to see pictures of a cute little Domm baby!!!
